Please follow common "honour system" rules of SMP servers - do not grief and do not steal. This applies to all player-created creations but particularly to communal creations which can not be easily protected with FTB Chunks.

For this iteration of Cweircraft, please humour me in using in-game communication as much as possible. This is an exercise in limitation which I hope will encourage players to get creative in the way that they approach their gameplay.

For an additional challenge, try not to use in-game text chat!

In particular, these mods are included in the modpack:

• Simple Voice Chat - A proximity voice chat (with optional private/public groupchats). You dont have to use voice chat if you are not comfortable.
• Simple Voice Radio - For a more immersive groupchat, with a ton of radio functionality
• Mighty Mail - Send mail (including newspapers and photos) to other player's mailboxes. Setting up a mailbox early is a good idea!
• Newspaper - A big version of the vanilla book with formatting options. Can be duplicated!
• Easy Paper - Alternative recipes for paper. You can also automate paper production with the Create mod
• Camera - Capture photos in-game and put them up/redistribute. You can also import custom images - please dont abuse this lol

Installation

1. The easiest way to install the modpack is through the MultiMC Launcher. If you have played the previous Cweircraft, you may already have this and can skip to step 5. Otherwise download and extract the launcher.
2. Open MultiMC - It will prompt you to select a Java version. If one is detected leave it on the default option. If none are detected, you will need to download a Java JDK and point MultiMC to a /bin/javaw.exe file
3. Set the maximum RAM you want to use for minecraft - I recommend at least 4096MiB. Click "Finish"
4. Follow the launcher instructions to connect your Microsoft account
5. Download the modpack file and import it into MultiMC. The modpack comes with an auto-updater which will sync your mods with the latest version. This means that if you have any mods that you want to add, as long as they dont cause a conflict for the game, we can do that seamlessly for everyone! It also means you may not necessarily know which mods have been added unless you read it in a newspaper ;-) This auto-sync can be disabled (speak to Ross) if you want to install additional client-side mods but you will be responsible for downloading any new mods manually.
